Bass Fishing Lures for tough times

Now that summer is in full swing, there are a few things going on that may make your trips a little tougher.  The water temperatures are up and hot.  The water levels at this time of year are usually low too.  So what Bass Fishing Lures would you want to use.  Well the 11 inch worm is always affective as well as the Halo jig.  I have found that after a morning top water bite, that you really need to slow down and coax them into action.  I like throwing a weightless 5 inch Trick Stick or even a Wacky Jack around deep docks and cover.  It takes a while for the Wacky Jack to get down but it is tempting them the whole way.

Try it and see how it works.

All of the bass fishing lures mentioned above are available at www.1stcastfishinglures.com

Good luck!

BASS FISHING – Summer pattern

Filed under: Crankbaits, Plastic Worm, Soft Plastics — bhfishman @ 9:13 pm and tagged , ,

We are into the summer pattern around here.  The bass are headed to their summer time depths which can make it an adventure trying to get to them.  One of my favorite techniques is using a Crankbait.  If you can get a crankbait that will dive to 14 or more feet, you stand a pretty good chance of hitting a school off of a point.  Of course all the conditions have to be right.

My second favorite technique at this time of the year is to texas rig a big worm.  Try the Big Mamma.  It is an 11″ worm that will float and drive the big bass nuts!  You can also use this in a Carolina Rig.  Whatever you decide on, take your time and have fun.
